Grace Lambert is a multidisciplinary artist working across music, performance and film. Her practice explores themes of disconnection, alienation and lost futures, often combining brooding electro-pop with striking surreal visuals.
Her music project LAMBERT has been supported by BBC Introducing, Amazing Radio and Ableton. Her debut EP Human Nature (2025) received critical support, with the title track featured on Apple Music’s New in Alternative playlist and praise from Record of the Day, Promo News, F Word Mag, Electrozombies and Iggy Magazine. She has performed at venues including Electrowerkz, The Finsbury and Amersham Arms, and at festivals such as The London Electronic Arts Festival, FEMMESTIVAL and Bimble Bandada.
Lambert has been awarded the Arts Council England Developing Your Creative Practice grant twice for music (2021, 2025). Her radio play was shortlisted for a BBC Audio Drama Award (Free Your Mind), and she has been nominated for Best Sound Design at the BAFTA-qualifying Underwire Film Festival (Oops I Did It Again). She was also longlisted for Saatchi UK New Artist of the Year (2022) and the Aesthetica Prize (2019). In 2026, she will be an artist in residence at the Pete Townshend Studio, developing her debut album.
Lambert has also worked as a composer for Teatro Vivo, creating music for their shows The Mystery of the Missing Marshes (2024) and The Myth of the Marshes (2025), and has created production music for libraries like Cavendish Music, Ninja Tune Production and MediaTracks.
Alongside her music and performance practice, Lambert works extensively with film and video, both as part of her artist project and as a director and editor for others. She has directed music videos for New Order, Icarus and Ava Lily, and has also worked as 1st AD (Second Unit) on Peter Strickland’s feature Flux Gourmet. Her performance work includes solo projects and collaborations as one half of performance duo Cheap Thrills, with work presented at institutions including the British Museum, Royal Academy of Arts, The Pleasance and Arebyte Gallery.
She holds an MA in Performance Design and Practice from Central Saint Martins and a BA in Music and Drama Studies from Bath Spa University.
